Prime Minister's fourth Chhattisgarh tour in village Jangla of tribal-populated Bijapur district

Prime Minister's will launch Ayushman Bharat Yojana at national-level in Jangla village of Bijapur district on April 14. This scheme will provide health insurance benefit of Rs 5 lakh to 10 crore poor people of India. 40-50 crore people of these families will be benefited by the scheme. Beneficiaries of this scheme will be entitled for availing free medical treatment of critical diseased in hospitals enlisted by government. Prime Minister will launch Ayushman Bharat Yojana and related programmes in Sub-Health Centre of Jangla. On the occasion, he will interact with local and block-level workers. Prime Minister will inaugurate the various bank branches for seven villages of Bijapur including Jangla. With inauguration of these branches, 21 villages of Bastar Revenue Division, which earlier had no banks will get ATM facility. In addition, Uranbeda village of Kondagaon district and Pondum village of Dantewada district will also get its own branch of bank.
Mr. Modi will unveil the newly-built rail line from Dallirajhara to Bhanupratappur and a passenger train for people of North Bastar. With this, North Bastar will also be linked to Railway network and services. Nr, Modi will inaugurate the first phase of Bastar Net Project of Chhattisgarh Government in the programme to be held in Jangla. Under this project, optical fibre cable network is being developed in Bijapur, Narayanpur, Bastar, Kanker, Kondagaon, Sukma and Dantewada to expand the reach of internet to remote villages of Bastar. This network will extend across nearly 40 thousand sq kilometre. This project will be implemented in two phases, 405 km network will be developed in the first phase and 431km network in the second.
After addressing the massive public gathering of Jangla, Prime Minister will come to Jagdalpur, and leave for New Delhi via Indian Air Force flight. During the Jangla tour of Prime Minister, Mr. Modi will also visit the exhibition held by state government, based on various schemes for development of Bijapur district. Mr. Modi will also visit rural BPO centre established under India BPO promotion scheme of Chhattisgarh Government, which is proving to be a big source of employment for rural youth. . Mr. Modi will also lay foundation of roads and bridges worth Rs 1043 crore in Jangla under PMGSY. He will also lay foundation of high-quality bridge on River Indravati.
